WHAT THEY DO WELL
Polished live presentation and audience polling, with word clouds, scales and open-ended responses embedded directly in a slide deck. For a conference talk that needs the audience to answer three questions, Mentimeter is the better tool and it is not close.
WHERE WE FIT BETTER
Sholix is built around the quiz itself: game modes, power-ups, team play, assignments learners complete on their own time, and per-question reporting afterwards. Mentimeter prices per presenter; the bundle gives you five seats and unlimited participants.
DO NOT SWITCH IF
If your real need is audience interaction inside a slide deck, stay with Mentimeter. Sholix does not try to be a presentation tool, and choosing it for that would be choosing the wrong shape of product.
